Rock cycle project
This is the picture of Anna's rock cycle project that we made as a class project. Sorry, it might not be a very good picture but it is the best I could do. If you can't see the labels then I will list them for you starting at the label to the right of the cloud : Weathering (the process of breaking down rocks) which creates sediments that erode or travel to water. When the sediments reach the water they are deposited or laid down. After time the sediments are compacted and cemented, which creates a sedimentary rock. The sedimentary rock undergoes heat and pressure. Which creates a metamorphic rock. The metamorphic rock melts creating growing magma. The magma shoots upward erupting out of a volcano. The lava cools and solidifies forming igneous rock. If the igneous rock goes into the ground it can be uplifted by earthquakes.
